Selecta at Cheese 2019
From 20th to 23rd September, Selecta will be at Cheese 2019, the most important international event dedicated to cheese.
Selecta has always paid much attention to the world of dairy, teaming up with the brands of formaggi.it and Non Toccatemi Il Formaggio, a range of quality products and especially a philosophy, a set of values, an ongoing and deep commitment – that of promoting the culture of cheese.
A culture that even Slow Food supports with great determination, seeking to protect quality artisan cheeses, the biodiversity of breeds of the animals, the knowledge of cheesemakers along with natural productions, identifying these factors in cheeses made with raw milk and produced without selected ferments or by availing of self-produced ferments (starter culture, whey culture). In keeping with this theme, Selecta and MonS Fromager Affineur, also present at Cheese 2019, will offer a selection of exclusively-natural cheese delights.
The challenge of being all-natural, however, also leads us to consider other foods, including cured meats. Always attentive to sustainable farming practices, artisanal production and respect for nature’s time, another historical partner of Selecta shall also be present at Cheese: Podere Cadassa.
