
A Sea of Champagne and … Selecta’s Primizie!
The splendid terrace of the Diana Grand Hotel in Alassio is embellished for the eighth edition of “Un Mare di Champagne” – “A Sea of Champagne” – as one of the most important national events dedicated to French bubbles.
Champagne has long evoked joyful, festive and cheerful moments. Alassio, as the bearer of these values, is transformed to host prestigious Maisons and famous Champagne labels.
The event kicks off with a gala dinner on Sunday, 20th September from 8:30 pm. The menu is signed by star chefs Ivano Ricchebono and Giuseppe Di Iorio, assisted by Massimo Viglietti, who chose the prized fresh ingredients from Porto Santo Spirito to create the Prawn and Passion Fruit Tartare and the Risotto with Burrata Cheese, Porto Santo Spirito Prawn Carpaccio and Saffron.
The following day, the terrace of the Diana Grand Hotel in Alassio becomes the stage an exquisite degustation, seeing 40 Maisons and over 120 Champagne labels as the protagonists of guided tastings. Not to be missed is a food area dedicated to gastronomic treasures, including a selection of specialities from our prestigious partners, with fine binic Cadoret oysters, seafood products from Porto Santo Spirito and San Daniele DOP prosciutto from Salumitaliani.com.
