The Vigna Oro Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP, as the flagship product of the Compagnia Del Montale Acetaia, has won the prestigious Diamond Taste Award, a special award only granted to products that have received the 3-star Superior Taste Award seven times.
Vigna Oro Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP is aged for about 10 years in cherry and oak barrels. It is full-bodied, round and with a pleasant acidity. This vinegar is an excellent and versatile ally in the kitchen thanks to its ability to enhance the flavours of any dish – from cheese to meat, fruit to dessert, not to mention vegetables.
The evaluation system is run by the Brussels-based International Taste Institute, with the aim of promoting superior quality products sold worldwide. The candidate products are evaluated by numerous teams of taste professionals, involving more than 200 Chefs & Sommeliers from the most prestigious European culinary associations.
